We now live in what is a digital age: so many of us have profiles on Facebook, send ‘tweets’ via twitter, use email and mobile phones, and share videos on websites such as YouTube. There are even applications available to tell us what to eat and how to cook it, and toilets that can measure how fit we are. We are bombarded with information to such an extent that there is even software available to make sure we sure we stay offline for set periods of time.

Video calling in mobile technology came and went several years back as it saw mediocre adaption rates. It was an unfortunate process as it could have really revolutionized the way we make calls, especially mobile ones. Apple is attempting to bring back video calls with the fourth generation of iPhone. The iPhones feature more and more technology every release and this one is no exception as it brings in a new application called FaceTime. No doubt something heavily invested into during iPhone development, it’s sure to add something extra to the calls we make.
